Piyo Class

Starting January 31 we will be offering a PiYo class-Tuesday night at 5:45pm-6:45pm at the Castlegate II Community Center. This is a great way to build community and get to know some of your neighbors!

PiYo is an incredibly effective body-transformation program that combines Pilates and yoga-inspired moves, all set to a faster pace, so you get your strength, fexibility, and cardio all in each workout. PiYo delivers the long, lean muscles and flat, toned abs of Pilates, a firm butt and strong arms like you'd get from yoga, and the weight-loss benefits of fat-burning cardio. The movement pattern goes from longer (16 count) to shorter and faster (4 count). There is a lot of getting up and down from the floor to standing position. This program will work your core like no other and is great for athletes who want to stretch their hip flexors, IT Band, hamstrings, and lower back. It is great for folks who want to get in a great workout without  pounding on the joints. Classes are one hour  and are $8 per class. Sessions will run 8 weeks allowing for no class the week of Spring Break. There will be one free make up class in case you must miss a scheduled class. To register, please contact Mary Timoney at 979-428-5530 and she will get you all set up.

Pool Leak

UPDATE 9/16/2016: Leak detection company is puzzled on where this leak is coming from, they are working with Oasis Pool to find the source.

UPDATE 8/2/2016: The auto fill does not seem to be cuasing the leak, and we have brought in a leak detection company to pressure test the lines. The auto fill is still shut off, and our neighbor to the pool has agreed to allow us to tap into their water source to fill the pool. The association will reimburse for this water expense.

UPDATE 7/15/2016: The pool company has dug up the area to see where the pool is leaking. At this time it looks like the auto fill, they will shut off and monitor.

Our landscaper advised that we had a continued wet area at the side of the pool annex near the detention pond. They had dug up the area and it is not from irrigation.

Flooding in the community

Update 9/16/2016 : We have meet with a few contractors to see if they can get back in the creek and clear out the debris. See the attached map of the area we have circled in red the area cuasing the bockage. We will update with that status.

Update 8/12/2016 :  We meet with Mr McElroy from the Plublic Works dept at the city to see what they city can do to help. See the attached map of the drainage that Mr McElroy provided. After his meetings with the city they will not help to clear the creek so that it drains properly.

Update 7/8/2016: we have meet with a few concrete contractors looking at installing a retainage wall to keep the over flow of the creek from invading the community.

That was some rain and tornado that came through our area. Please advise if you had any flooding in your home. While we had the fence taken down in December yeaterdays rain was historic. We have reached out to the city requesting help to clear the creek that runs behind and around our community to clean out the over growth.

Mosquito Dunks

We will have mosquito dunks available starting the week of May 2, 2016 for residents to pick up. Please stop by office to pick up your bag Monday – Thursday between 9:00am – 4:00pm. We are located east of the Arrington Rd and Green Prairie.

4519 Mills Park Cr, Suite 200 College Station, TX 77845

Due to the public health concerns with Zika and West Nile, this year we will stock the mosquito dunks. The dunks can be broken in halves and used as well. It can take at least 2 to 3 weeks for a full mosquito dunk to dissolve, so using halves and dunking on a weekly basis will also help extend the use and number of the dunks.
